How do I authorize my Office?
Read this closely, you will NOT use your email address to sign into Office! Instead, Microsoft assigned each of you a special onMicrosoft.com address. For example, Gerry would have to sign in using gerryr@mrbk.onmicrosoft.com.
This has to be done once for each user on a computer
- Launch Microsoft Word from the Start Menu
- If checkpoint tools asks for permission to update settings, say yes
- If it says “sign in to get the most out of office” in the upper-right corner, click it and sign in using your Office 365 username@mrbk.onMicrosoft.com account
- If it doesn't, click your name and “switch account” if it isn't using username@mrbk.onMicrosoft.com
- if it asks to add this account to Windows, say yes
If your regular password does not work or Microsoft makes you change it… Reset your Microsoft password
