Normally, this printer will be automatically installed and configured on every workstation. However, if it does not appear, perform the following steps:
- Open settings and search for Printers & Scanners
- Click on the c550i printer and press Manage, if it’s not listed:
- Copy the following item to the clipboard (based on office location)

\\s-file2019mry.salinas.mcgilloway-ray.com\Konica Minolta c550i
- Open File Explorer and paste it into the entry box at the top
- Press Enter
- a printer dialog box should open after it installs the driver, just close it
- Copy the following item to the clipboard (based on office location)
- Click on Printing Preferences
- Open the Basic tab and press the authentication/ account track button
- For a user who is allowed to print in Color, set the user authentication to Username=color and enter the password provided by Gerry
- B/W should be selected each time when printing something that does not require color
- For everyone else, set the user authentication to Public User
- For a user who is allowed to print in Color, set the user authentication to Username=color and enter the password provided by Gerry
- Reboot
If the printer is unable to print after rebooting, try this:
- Open the Control Panel – View Devices & Printers
- Click Add Printer
- Add a local Printer using IP 192.168.101.201
- Choose the Konica Minolta c650i driver
- Rename to Konica Minolta c550i
- Do not share
- Repeat the steps above to set the authentication/account track
