If you start getting recurring errors saying there is a problem with your roaming profile, ask someone else to sign in to your machine and, while signed in as them, perform the following:
- Open File Manager
- Right-click This PC and choose Properties
- Click Advanced System Settings (off to the right)
- Click Settings in the User Profiles box
- Highlight your account and press Delete
- Open C:\Users and confirm that user’s folder has been deleted
- Contact support if it still exists
- Sign out of their account and then sign back in as you
- It will take longer than normal to sign in and you will have to setup Outlook

Try each of these in order one at a time.
- Ensure the user’s folder has been deleted
- Manually clean out the profile key from the registry
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
- Rename user’s folder in D:\Users on the server
- Rename JohnSmith to JohnSmith.YYYYMMDD
