A connection to the remote computer could not be established. You might need to change the network settings for this connection

  1. Right-click the Start menu and open Device Manager
  2. Open the Network Devices folder
  3. Right-click and choose uninstall on anything with “WAN Miniport” in its name
  4. Right-click the Network Devices folder and choose “Scan for hardware changes”
  5. Try to connect with the VPN again, no need to reboot
